On October 4, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is in Strasbourg on a working visit, met with Thorbjørn Jagland, Secretary General of the Council of Europe.
At the meeting the sides exchanged views on Armenias involvement in the Council of Europe and the implementation of Armenia-CoE 2015-2018 Action Plan.
The interlocutors touched upon the ongoing reforms in Armenia. Within this context, Minister Nalbandian expressed gratitude for the continuous advisory assistance provided to Armenia by the Council of Europe.
The Foreign Minister of Armenia and the CoE Secretary General exchanged views on a number of pressing international issues.
