On July 7, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian and the Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah exchanged letters on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

In his message, Minister Nalbandian notes, that during the past quarter century interstate relations based on mutual respect and trust have been established between the two countries, which is the best foundation for further strengthening and deepening the mutually beneficial Armenian-Omani cooperation.

Minister expressed confidence, that through joint efforts, it will be possible to enrich the Armenian-Omani agenda with numerous new initiatives and programmes of mutual interest, for the common benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.

In his message, the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, in particular, underlined that exceptional relations binding the two countries follow the guidelines set by the leaders of the two states.

Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, while commending the high level of bilateral relations, reiterated the intention of Oman to work together to further develop the relations in all fields of mutual interest, that will amount to our aspirations and will serve the shared interests of both peoples.
