In 2014 the foundation has been laid for Armenia-UAE cooperation. Cooperation and expanding mutual ties to the UAE's capital, Abu Dhabi 50 Arab sheikh arrived in Armenia. They have acquired about 60 hectares of orchards and engage in the construction of residential houses on that land. Arab sheikhs about 1-1.5 hectares of land each to buy Ashtarak, Etchmiadzin and New Hachn.

Arab sheikhs liked a lot of peaches, apricots and other fresh fruits. it also contributed to the excellent game Armenia chess team.

Note also that in March 2017 the UAE capital Abu Dhabi to host Armenia-UAE business forum, which will open new perspectives for the Armenian and Arab businessmen.
